Every Friday we will be hosting a wine flight tasting. You have two options:
Flight wines for only $15.00 per person . You can select any 4 wines of your choice or select the Food and Wine Flight offered at $45.00 per person. A 5-course food and wine pairing that will leave your taste buds wanting more!! Either choice is a nice way to start out the weekend…
Well another holiday is quickly approaching…Mother’s Day!!! For all of you history buffs…a tid bit of history…The earliest history of Mother’s day dates back to the ancient annual spring festival the Greeks dedicated to maternal goddesses. The Greeks used the occasion to honor Rhea, wife of Cronus and the mother of many deities of Greek mythology. In the 1600’s England, this day became known as Mothering Sunday, it was celebrated annually on the 4th Sunday of lent to honor mothers. After a prayer service in church to honor the Virgin Mary, children brought gifts, fruit, cakes and flowers to pay tribute to their own mothers. La Traviata would like to pay tribute to all Mother’s!!! The festivities will commence on Sunday May 11, 2008 at 11:00am to 4:00pm and will feature a 3-course sit –down meal, after which we will be honoring your mother with a sumptuous champagne and dessert buffet blending free flowing champagne with delectable pastries, cakes and fruit. Mother’s Day Brunch is $42.00 per person, kids under 10yrs. for $18.00. Space is limited and will fill quickly so make your reservations early, a credit card is required to secure the reservation. We are almost there with the new multi media room. The room is being painted as I write and has been projected to open late May. It is coming along beautifully and the anticipation is becoming unbearable. The bookings on the room have already commenced and we are booking up already for December parties- my recommendation is that if you want to have your Christmas event in our sought after venue, please contact Miki Wise, as soon as possible, and she will create a spectacular event for you and your guests. We will definitely keep you all updated as to the exact opening day!

name is Jason Posada and I am with Heart of Los Angeles Youth (HOLA)
last Friday I had the distinct honor of celebrating my birthday
with an exquisite dinner at La Traviata. It was my first time at
La Traviata and what can I say, I was blown away by the amazing
staff and hosts as well the delicious food your menu has on it.
I had the Chicken Violeta and the Coconut Shrimp as an appetizer!
Exquisite!! Thank you for creating such an amazing place to celebrate
my birthday with my girlfriend. It was also really nice to meet
Mario and to have him personally greet all the distinguished clients.
I
wanted to invite La Traviata to participate in this year’s
Holiday of the Heart gala, where you too can play an instrumental
role in the growth and success of our organization. HOLA is proudly
celebrating 15 years of service to young people living in LA’s
inner city. As a part of this year’s gala, we will be honoring
Wells Fargo Bank for their support of over 1,000 community organizations
through out Southern California and their long term commitment to
Heart of Los Angeles Youth. Holiday of the Heart will be held on
the evening of Wednesday, December 15th at the beautiful Millennium
Biltmore Hotel with over 450 guests from LA’s business and
entertainment world.
Heart
of Los Angeles Youth serves over 1,300 young people ages 6-19 years
old through daily programs in fine arts, athletics, education, and
computer technology. This year we have added two new elementary
education programs and support from this gala will help to ensure
brighter futures for hundreds of inner city young people.
